US Military Fails Test Launch of Minuteman III Ballistic Missile

In a recent incident, the US military encountered a malfunction during a test launch of the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) over the Pacific Ocean. The launch was safely terminated by the Space Launch Delta unit due to an anomaly at the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, according to a statement released by the US Air Force.

A commission consisting of representatives from relevant agencies has been formed to investigate the cause of the accident. Despite the unsuccessful launch, the military claims to have obtained valuable data necessary for maintaining the readiness of ballistic missiles.

On October 31st, Pentagon spokesperson Patrick Ryder announced that the US intends to conduct a training launch of the Minuteman III ICBM without a warhead.

It has been previously reported that Russia continues to adhere to the quantitative restrictions outlined in the Treaty on the Reduction of Strategic Offensive Arms.

On October 16th, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed concern that the US might return nuclear weapons to British territory.

In a separate report, a survivalist shared tips on how to survive a nuclear explosion.
