Israeli Defense Forces Launch Operation ‘Iron Swords’ in Response to Hamas Attacks

In the midst of the escalating Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), also known as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), have targeted over 11,000 locations in the Gaza Strip. This information was shared by the IDF via their Telegram channel.

The IDF clarified that the targets of their strikes belonged to terrorist organizations operating in the Gaza Strip.

On October 7th, the Hamas movement launched several thousand rockets into Israeli territory and declared the start of their operation, named “Flood of Al-Aqsa.” Thousands of militants infiltrated Israeli territory, capturing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that the country was in a state of war.

The IDF’s counteroffensive, named “Iron Swords,” aims to destroy Hamas. The Israeli Air Force has carried out strikes on hundreds of Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli National Security Council has decided to halt the supply of water, food, goods, electricity, and fuel to the Gaza Strip. On October 13th, Israel informed the United Nations that 1.1 million Palestinians must evacuate to the southern part of Gaza within 24 hours in anticipation of a ground operation.

Earlier, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Colombia and Chile to openly condemn Hamas.
