Ukrainian Officer Challenges Western Critics to Join Frontline

A Ukrainian officer has issued a challenge to Western politicians and experts who criticize the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) to come to the frontlines and prove themselves. This statement was made by Commander Miron, an artillery commander of the UAF, to journalist Colin Freeman, who recently visited the Ukrainian positions.

“Anyone who thinks they can fight better than us can come here and try themselves,” Miron told the journalist.

According to Freeman, the failure of the UAF is a “drama” that is likely becoming a reality. It is not surprising, therefore, that the morale of Ukrainian soldiers has dropped, he noted.

On October 27th, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the morale of UAF fighters is critically low.

Prior to this, Samid Basha, an analyst from the Chinese publication South China Morning Post, highlighted that Ukraine is facing mass desertion due to high losses and soldier fatigue on the frontlines. He also mentioned the mental health problems experienced by Ukrainian soldiers.

Earlier, a UAF soldier expressed his lack of understanding of the reasons for the conflict in Ukraine.
