The Russian state-owned corporation “Rostec” is planning to integrate FPV drones into the armament system of light-armored vehicles, according to a press release from the “Precision Complexes” holding, a subsidiary of “Rostec”, as reported by TASS.
It is noted that some samples of electronic protection against such unmanned aerial vehicles have already undergone tests on infantry combat vehicles, and the inclusion of such systems in the equipment of the vehicles is being worked on.
Currently, efforts are underway to integrate FPV drones into the armament system of light-armored vehicles.
Earlier, it was reported that the Russian rapid response unmanned squadron (BOBR), one of the first to use FPV drones during a special military operation in Ukraine, destroyed and rendered inoperable over 100 units of military equipment and approximately a battalion of enemy personnel.
Previously, a new drone suppression system was developed in Russia.
