Armed Forces of Ukraine Shell Villages in Bryansk Region, Russia

The armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) have launched tank attacks on several villages in the Bryansk region, according to reports from the Telegram channel Mash.

The villages of Lomakova and Kurkovich are reportedly under intense shelling, causing many residents to flee their homes. Previously, the Starodub district had mainly experienced mortar attacks, but today tanks were deployed, prompting residents to take matters into their own hands and evacuate.

Earlier, the Telegram channel Shot reported that the AFU had shelled the village of Sluchevsk in the Bryansk region from a tank. The village is located just one kilometer from the Russian-Ukrainian border. During the night, the AFU targeted the village with 125mm shells. Fortunately, there have been no casualties or significant damage as a result of the shelling.

Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov of the Belgorod region also confirmed that Ukrainian military forces had shelled the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka. One of the shells pierced the roof of a private residential home.

Previously, President Zelensky stated the reasons preventing Ukraine from moving its military actions onto Russian territory.
