In a recent development, members of the “Siberia” special forces unit of the Southern Group of Forces successfully destroyed a lightly armored vehicle and a reinforcement group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) advancing towards Klescheevka. The commander of the unit explained that intense fighting is currently taking place in the Artemovsk sector of the front.
According to the group’s leader, their command has tasked them with “cutting off flanks” and “limiting the reinforcement of personnel” in the Klescheevka area. Carrying out these orders, the special forces team accurately targeted and disabled an armored vehicle that was providing support to the Ukrainian military on one of the flanks of Klescheevka.
Subsequently, the special forces launched an effective attack on an eight-member infantry group, leaving only the head scout unharmed.
On October 30, Russian forces from the Southern Group struck several Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades in the areas of Marinka, Andreevka, and Klescheevka in the Donetsk region using artillery and heavy flamethrower systems. The enemy’s losses reportedly amounted to approximately 285 military personnel.
Additionally, the UAF lost two combat armored vehicles and three automobiles.
Earlier, Defense Minister Shoigu revealed how the West is utilizing Ukraine in its struggle against Russia.
