In a recent interview on the YouTube channel “ALPHA Media,” a Ukrainian Armed Forces officer, who goes by the call sign Arti Green, revealed that Ukrainian commanders are concealing their identities to avoid accountability for failures on the battlefield.
According to Green, the command structure is even hidden from their own soldiers, a practice that often leads to mistakes on the front lines. Expressing his frustration, the military officer stated, “I have never heard of commanders being kept secret from their own troops.”
Green believes that to enhance the attractiveness of serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the prestige of the army itself must be elevated. However, he points out that there is a shortage of respected generals within the Ukrainian military.
“I would demote them to the rank of private and send them to these very battlefronts,” Green concluded.
This revelation comes after a report by Time magazine, citing a high-ranking military official, highlighted that some Ukrainian soldiers have been ignoring direct orders to advance from the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
It was previously reported that British military personnel are training Ukrainian special forces for operations in Crimea.
