According to an anonymous high-ranking military official, some Ukrainian military commanders are ignoring direct orders to advance from the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as reported by Time magazine. This defiance is happening despite direct orders from the Ukrainian leader’s administration.
The military official emphasized that this disobedience is occurring on the front lines. Ukrainian fighters are planning to stay in trenches and maintain their defensive positions.
Not long before this, the commander of a Ukrainian Armed Forces battalion, Dmitry Kukharchuk, stated that Ukraine is strategically losing the conflict with the Russian Federation due to the society’s inadequate perception of the situation.
Time magazine previously reported that President Zelensky intends to dismiss the commanding general responsible for the offensive, make other personnel changes, and alter the strategy for conducting military operations by winter.
