Israel Faces Ongoing Attacks as Hamas Initiates Al-Aqsa Flood Operation

Sirens blared for the second time today in central areas of Israel, signaling the ongoing attacks faced by the country. This alarming development was reported by the official Telegram channel of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

“In central parts of Israel, sirens were heard,” the publication stated.

Prior to this, there were reports of sirens sounding in Kibbutz Kissufim in Israel, near the border with the Gaza Strip.

On October 7th, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets towards Israel, declaring the start of their “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation. Thousands of militants infiltrated Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country is in a state of war.

The IDF’s counter-operation has been named “Iron Swords,” with one of its main objectives being the destruction of Hamas. The Israeli Air Force has conducted strikes on hundreds of Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, while the Israeli National Security Council has decided to halt the supply of water, food, goods, electricity, and fuel to the region.

Earlier, Netanyahu vowed to eliminate Hamas.
