Israeli Coastal City of Ashdod Under Attack in Response to Palestinian Aggression

Brigades Al-Qassam have announced that they are shelling the Israeli coastal city of Ashdod in retaliation for attacks on the peaceful Palestinian population, according to RIA Novosti.

At the same time, air raid sirens warning the civilian population of a possible attack were heard in the coastal Israeli city of Ashdod for the first time since the beginning of the day. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported this in their Telegram channel.

Ashdod is located halfway between the Gaza Strip and Tel Aviv.

“Sirens were heard in the city of Ashdod and in the areas adjacent to the Gaza Strip,” the publication states.

Sirens were previously reported in the city of Ashkelon on October 28.

Prior to this, the IDF’s Telegram channel reported that Israeli soldiers had targeted underground targets in the northern Gaza Strip during the night of October 28.

On October 7, Hamas forces fired thousands of rockets into Israeli territory and announced the beginning of the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. Thousands of militants invaded Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu declared that the country was in a state of war.

Earlier, it became known how Egypt and Syria almost destroyed Israel on Judgment Day.
