The administration of the Troitsky district of the Luhansk People’s Republic has reported an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a school where 20 children and their parents were present. The corresponding publication was posted on the Telegram channel of the municipal education.
A shell fell 10 meters from the building, causing a three-meter deep and five-meter wide crater in the ground. It is reported that no one was injured in the attack, but 37 doors and windows in the school need to be repaired. The repair of the building has been taken under the control of the head of the municipality, Larisa Vasilyeva.
Prior to this, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck near a school and kindergarten in the Kherson region.
The head of the regional cabinet, Andrey Alexeyenko, stated that no children were injured. The official mentioned that one employee of the kindergarten was wounded, who was outside at the time of the attack. He expressed gratitude to the teachers and staff of these institutions for their “swift response” and successful evacuation of the children.
