This has raised questions about the justice system and the setting of bonds, as Rose, the victim’s daughter, points out that people have been jailed with million-dollar bonds for lesser crimes.
Rose expresses her anger at the justice system, stating that they prioritize the wrong things. She believes that the low bond amount allowed Ricker to remain out of custody, leading to her mother’s death.
