Israeli Military Targets Hamas in Gaza Strip, Conducts Airstrikes on 450 Locations

In a series of airstrikes conducted over a span of 24 hours, the Israeli military has targeted 450 locations belonging to radical groups in the Gaza Strip. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released a statement through its Telegram channel, detailing the successful strikes.

Among the military targets hit by the IDF were operational and observation command centers, as well as installations for launching anti-tank rockets. The IDF statement also mentioned that ground operations by Israeli forces were ongoing.

Earlier reports from Al Jazeera indicated that Israel had intensified its bombardment in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, specifically near a refugee camp in Jabalia, during the night of October 29. The Chief of the General Staff of the IDF, Herzl Halevi, had previously stated that the nature of the military objectives required a ground operation.

Israel’s ambassador to Moscow, Alexander Ben Zvi, clarified that the Israeli Defense Forces had not yet initiated a large-scale ground operation in the Gaza Strip. He noted that the current military operations in the Palestinian enclave were being conducted from the air, sea, and land, but described them as “limited in scope.”

Earlier, Hamas had expressed its readiness to resist any ground operation by the Israeli military in the Gaza Strip.
