The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that Russian forces have successfully destroyed a German Leopard tank on the Zaporizhia front. The defense ministry reported that the Russian military units, with the support of airstrikes and artillery fire, managed to repel four attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in the Rabotino area of the Zaporizhia region. In addition, Russian forces inflicted damage in the Verbovo area.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the UAF suffered significant losses, including up to 80 soldiers, the Leopard tank, four armored combat vehicles, three vehicles, and a US-made M119 howitzer.
The leader of the “We Are Together with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov, claimed that Russian forces had destroyed four German Leopard tanks in battle on the Orikhiv front in the Zaporizhia region. He also reported that Russian forces had gained control over a major UAF stronghold near Novodarovka in the Zaporizhia region.
On October 22, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian forces had successfully targeted a Polish self-propelled artillery system, the Krab, during counter-battery combat on the Zaporizhia front.
Earlier, a UAF soldier expressed confusion about the reasons behind the conflict in Ukraine.
