Israeli Defense Forces Strike Hamas Commander in Gaza

In a recent military operation, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) targeted the commander of the Hamas naval forces in the city of Gaza, Ratib Abu Zahiban. The IDF made this announcement through their official Telegram channel.

The strike was conducted by IDF fighter jets and specifically targeted Abu Zahiban, who was responsible for planning and overseeing a planned attack on Israeli territory from the sea on October 24. The Israeli Navy successfully thwarted this attack.

This comes after the IDF carried out a strike on Asem Abu Rakabe, a commander of the Hamas Air Force, during the night of October 28. According to the IDF, Abu Rakabe was involved in planning military operations in populated areas near the Gaza Strip on October 7 of this year.

Israel has intensified its strikes on targets in the Gaza Strip and has announced the “expansion of ground maneuvers” within the enclave. For more details, please refer to the article on “Gazeta.ru”.

In previous statements, Hamas claimed that the West has erected an “insurmountable wall” between itself and the Arab world.
