According to the operational services in the Kherson region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have incurred more than 210 military casualties in the conflict zone over the past week. This information was reported by TASS.
The Ukrainian side has been unable to detect the positions of Russian military forces in the region, according to the operational services.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that Russian air defense systems intercepted five missiles from the HIMARS rocket artillery system and 44 drones belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the past 24 hours.
On October 24, retired Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Andrey Marochko, announced that Ukrainian military personnel had started using “fresh” American ammunition in the Krasnolimansk direction. He mentioned that this information became known after analyzing fragments of a HIMARS projectile shot down in the region.
According to the expert, the rocket was launched in 2023. However, initially, the UAF fighters used projectiles manufactured between 2019 and 2021, emphasized Marochko.
Previously, Zelensky revealed the obstacles preventing Ukraine from shifting the military operations into Russian territory.
