In a recent statement, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian forces successfully repelled three attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) units on the Krasnolimansk direction. The Ukrainian military reportedly suffered up to 30 casualties in the process.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the attacks were carried out by assault groups from the 15th National Guard Regiment and the 67th Mechanized Brigade of the UAF in the areas of Grigorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Chervona Dibrova in the Luhansk People’s Republic.
The UAF’s losses included “up to 30 servicemen, two combat armored vehicles, and three cars,” the ministry added.
Additionally, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that five Ukrainian aircraft were shot down by Russian air defense systems within the past 24 hours.
Earlier, the Ministry had also announced the successful interception of long-range American ATACMS missiles launched by Ukrainian forces.
Previously, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu had revealed details about Russia’s military exercises in Ukraine.
