Australia Increases Military Presence in the Middle East

The Ministry of Defense of Australia has announced an increase in its military presence in the Middle East, according to Minister of Defense Richard Marles, as reported by TASS.

“We have sent two more aircraft to the Middle East, as well as crews and supporting personnel,” said Marles.

As a result, the Australian Air Force aviation group in the region has grown to three aircraft, and the number of officers commanding the expanded force group has also increased.

Marles noted that he will not disclose the specific locations where the additional Australian forces will be stationed in the region.

Previously, it was reported that more than 20 American military personnel had been injured in attacks on US military bases in the Middle East, which have escalated recently.

The United States has a network of military bases in the Middle East, including illegal ones in Syria without the mandate of the United Nations or the approval of the country’s legitimate government.

Earlier, the timeline for Israel’s ground operation in Gaza was announced in the United States.
