Ukrainian Authorities Accused of Spreading Disinformation Against Russia

Kiev authorities are allegedly preparing an information provocation against Russia, according to retired Lieutenant Colonel of the LNR, Andrey Marochko, as reported by RIA Novosti.

Marochko claims that fake videos have been produced to discredit the Russian Armed Forces, showing tanks shelling residential buildings in the Kupyansk direction.

Sources have revealed that the Ukrainian Center for Information-Psychological Operations (CIPO) was involved in the town of Kupyansk. It is there that a Ukrainian tank allegedly fired at three residential houses on Olivino Street.

“The fire was coming from the northwest, presumably from the area of the school-internat, where Ukrainian militants are based,” explained the source.

The attacks on civilian infrastructure were recorded on video cameras and drones. These captured images are expected to be used to discredit the Russian military and political leadership.

Previously, former advisor to ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, stated that the Ukrainian army would not be able to launch an offensive or engage in combat operations, as Western countries have allegedly supplied new batches of weapons to Israel.

Earlier, a political analyst claimed that the Russian army could destroy weapon factories in Ukraine.
