The Israeli army has launched an attack on a terrorist cell that was attempting to infiltrate Israeli territory, according to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on their Telegram channel.
The message stated that the maritime wing fighters targeted the terrorist cell as it tried to enter Israel in the area of Zikim through the sea.
It has been noted that the Israeli army continues to scan the area.

Thousands of militants invaded Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. The IDF’s counter-operation has been named “Iron Blades,” with the destruction of Hamas being one of its objectives. The Israeli Air Force has carried out strikes on hundreds of Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.
