Israeli Army Strikes Terror Cell Attempting to Infiltrate Israeli Territory

The Israeli army has launched an attack on a terrorist cell that was attempting to infiltrate Israeli territory, according to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on their Telegram channel.

The message stated that the maritime wing fighters targeted the terrorist cell as it tried to enter Israel in the area of Zikim through the sea.

It has been noted that the Israeli army continues to scan the area.

On October 7th, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israel and declared the start of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation. Thousands of militants invaded Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the country is in a state of war.

The IDF’s counter-operation has been named “Iron Blades,” with the destruction of Hamas being one of its objectives. The Israeli Air Force has carried out strikes on hundreds of Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.
