Canadian Defense Minister William Blair has stated that the Palestinian group Hamas poses a threat not only to Israel but also to the entire world, and therefore it needs to be eliminated, according to TASS.
Blair emphasized that Israel has the right to self-defense against the terrorist threat.
“To be frank, Hamas needs to be eliminated as a threat not only to Israel but also to the world. It is a terrorist organization,” Blair told journalists.
On October 24, French President Emmanuel Macron stated the need to create regional and international coalitions to fight terrorists.
Prior to this, The New York Times reported that the US administration is concerned that the Israeli army is not yet ready to initiate a ground operation in Gaza and does not have a clear plan.
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu promised to destroy Hamas.
