Ukrainian Armed Forces Using American Ammunition from 2023 on Krasnolimansk Front

The Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have started using American ammunition from 2023 on the Krasnolimansk front, according to retired Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Andrey Marochko, as reported by RIA Novosti.

Marochko explained that after examining the fragments of the HIMARS rocket artillery system projectile that was shot down near the settlement of Svatove, it was revealed that the ammunition was manufactured in 2023.

The expert reminded that prior to this, the UAF had been using rockets produced between 2019 and 2021.

On October 21, Marochko stated that the UAF had shelled three settlements of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) within a day: Donetsk, Makeevka, and the Yasynuvata district. The DPR representation in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s military crimes (JCCC) noted that the Ukrainian troops had fired 12 rounds of 155mm caliber ammunition within ten minutes.

Prior to this, the advisor to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Yan Gagin, made a statement that the UAF had used chemical weapons during shelling of Russian positions in the DPR.

Earlier, the retired Lieutenant Colonel of the LPR pointed out the emergence of panic moods within the UAF.
