Head of the press center of the Russian forces group “West,” Sergey Zybinskiy, has announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have suffered significant losses in the ongoing military operations in the Kupyansk direction. According to Zybinskiy, the Ukrainian troops lost up to two platoons of manpower, including two M113 armored personnel carriers, one “Kozak” combat armored vehicle, one pickup truck, and one ammunition point.
The Russian side also utilized aviation and artillery to repel nine UAF attacks in the areas of Ivanovka, Sergeevka, Zagoruikovka, Timkovka, and Sienkivka, as reported by Zybinskiy.
Prior to this, the Russian Armed Forces successfully repelled seven UAF attacks in the Zaporizhia region within a day.
The Ukrainian troops regularly attempt to launch attacks on Rabotino. On October 21, Russian forces destroyed three UAF tanks in the vicinity of this village within a day.
However, the Ukrainian tanks find it difficult to approach the front line. As mentioned by the commander of a tank platoon in the Russian Armed Forces, the Russian military prevents enemy vehicles from reaching the front line by utilizing FPV drones, which promptly detect the location of combat vehicles.
There have also been reports of successes in the Kherson region, where the personnel of the Russian “Dnepr” group managed to eliminate a military equipment depot containing around 15 units of UAF military vehicles, including Bradley armored vehicles.
Previously, Zelensky had revealed the obstacles preventing Ukraine from shifting the military operations onto Russian territory.
