US Military Bases in Syria and Iraq Attacked by Drones: Hamas Takes Responsibility

The US military base at At-Tanf, located in the southeastern desert of Syria, was targeted by two drones, according to Al-Mayadeen TV channel.

The drones managed to penetrate the US base’s air defenses and carry out an attack. However, no information about the extent of damage or casualties has been provided.

The Iraqi branch of the radical group Hamas has claimed responsibility for the strike. Hamas representatives also assert that the base in Er-Rukban, which serves as a refugee camp, was also targeted.

Earlier, the Ain al-Assad military airbase in western Iraq’s Anbar province, where both Iraqi and American forces are stationed, was hit by rockets.

On October 21, two drones were shot down over the Ain al-Assad base, as reported by the Pentagon. The US military department states that no one was injured as a result of the rocket attack.

Previously, the US announced the timeline for Israel’s ground operation in Gaza.
