Ukrainian Intelligence Linked to Drone Attacks in Moscow, Washington Post Reports

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) has been implicated in dozens of drone launches, including in Moscow, according to sources cited by The Washington Post.

The article also reports that Ukrainian journalist Daria Dugina was targeted by the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU). It is noted that the SBU, in close cooperation with the United States’ Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), had been preparing for these and other operations for nearly a decade, since the annexation of Crimea by Russia.

Furthermore, the article mentions the involvement of Ukrainian intelligence agencies and the CIA in the assassination of former employee of Kharkiv’s Organized Crime Control Department, leader of the “Oplot” movement, Yevgeny Zhilin, and commander of the “Somali” battalion, Mikhail “Givi” Tolstykh.

Earlier, the Kremlin assessed the risk of increased attacks on Russian infrastructure by winter.
