Ukrainian soldiers who refuse to participate in assaults on the Zaporizhzhia front are being sent to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). This was revealed by Sergei Kadachnikov, a captured Ukrainian scout from the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), in an interview with TASS.
The soldier stated that his unit suffered heavy losses near Rabotyne. As a result, soldiers are refusing to storm the objects.
“These refusers are being sent to the SBU… What happens to them afterwards, no one knows. We haven’t seen those who were taken away anymore,” noted Kadachnikov.
In addition, another captured soldier, Vasiliy Kosovan, a shooter from the 14th mechanized brigade, also spoke about mass refusals to participate in the assaults near Rabotyne. According to him, a “whole battalion” of refusers has been gathered.
On October 23, the UAF reported a severe shortage of ordinary soldiers. According to the commander of a UAF company, Vladislav Shevchuk, “soldiers are running out every day.”
Earlier, a retired lieutenant colonel of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR) pointed out the emergence of panic moods within the UAF.
