Around 200,000 Israeli citizens have been forced to flee their homes following the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, according to The Times of Israel.
The publication reports that many Israelis have been compelled to leave their homes and relocate to safer areas within the country. Approximately half of them were instructed to evacuate from 105 settlements near the Gaza Strip and Lebanon borders, while the other half left voluntarily.
“About 200,000 Israelis have been internally displaced during the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas,” the article states.
Prior to this, the official spokesperson of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Daniel Haggai, stated that the Israeli military has apprehended thousands of supporters of the Palestinian radical movement, Hamas.
