In a recent development on the Kupyansk front, the Western group of Russian troops has successfully destroyed a Ukrainian army ammunition depot and a radio electronic warfare station (REW). This information was revealed by the spokesperson for the Russian group, Sergey Zybinskiy, in an interview with TASS.
According to the officer, the ammunition depot of the 60th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) was destroyed in the Ogurtsovo area, while the radio electronic warfare station was annihilated in the Borovaya area.
Zybinskiy highlighted that during counter-battery operations, the artillery of the Russian group also eliminated three mortar teams in the areas of Petropavlovka, Novoegorovka, and Novoselovka. The UAF suffered casualties of up to 20 servicemen, along with the loss of two infantry fighting vehicles and three vehicles.
Previously, it was reported that Russian forces made significant progress and reached the railway line in the vicinity of Avdiivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
In a separate development, there have been suggestions in the State Duma to organize an exhibition showcasing NATO’s destroyed military equipment.
