Israeli Defense Forces Destroy Hamas Leaders and Targets in Gaza

In a series of nighttime strikes in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have reportedly destroyed the deputy head of Hamas’ rocket forces and dozens of other targets belonging to the organization. This information was provided by the official spokesperson for the IDF, Daniel Haggari, as reported by TASS.

Additionally, it has been reported that a number of Hamas supporters have been eliminated within the Gaza Strip.

Prior to this, it was confirmed that the number of hostages held in the Gaza Strip had reached 212.

On October 7th, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory and declared the start of the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. Thousands of militants infiltrated Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the country was in a state of war.

The Israeli Defense Forces’ retaliatory operation has been named “Iron Swords,” with the destruction of Hamas being one of its objectives. The Israeli Air Force has conducted strikes on hundreds of Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, while the Israeli National Security Council has decided to halt the delivery of water, food, goods, electricity, and fuel to the region. On October 13th, Israel informed the United Nations that 1.1 million Palestinians must be evacuated to the south of Gaza within 24 hours in anticipation of a ground operation.
