Ukrainian Soldiers Fired Upon by Ukrainian Forces for Refusing to Cross Dnipro River

In a shocking turn of events, Governor Vladimir Saldo of the Kherson region has reported in his Telegram channel that a Ukrainian Armed Forces’ barrier detachment opened fire on soldiers who refused to cross the Dnipro River.

According to the head of the Kherson region, the barrier detachment, composed of National Guard troops and foreign mercenaries, was operating on the right bank of the Dnipro River in the areas of Ivanovka and Novotyaginka. This detachment targeted Ukrainian soldiers who had declined to cross the river.

“Our military dropped leaflets on the enemy, urging them to surrender. Ukrainian soldiers, this is your only way to survive,” added Saldo.

Prior to this incident, Saldo had reported that five missiles fired by the Ukrainian Armed Forces had been shot down over the Kherson region.

He further stated that Ukraine had launched at least 10-15 missiles, including modified S-200 missiles, in a large-scale missile attack on Crimea and the Azov Sea region.

Earlier in the US, the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive was acknowledged.
