Air Alert in Sevastopol: Governor Raises Concerns

Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev of Sevastopol has issued an air alert in the city, according to his Telegram channel. This is the second time in a day that an air alert has been announced in Sevastopol.

The alert was cancelled 16 minutes later. Prior to this incident, there have been previous instances of air alerts in the city. Razvozhaev later reported that a missile was shot down in the Karakoba area, with its explosive part detonating on the ground in a field. Thankfully, no individuals or infrastructure were harmed.

Sirens were also heard in Sevastopol on October 14th. In September, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched missile strikes on the S. Ordzhonikidze Shipyard, targeting unmanned boats attempting to attack ships and facilities in Sevastopol Bay. The patrol ship “Vasily Bykov” successfully neutralized all the maritime drones.

Earlier, it was revealed why Ukrainian refugees in Britain are being forced to return home.
