Ukrainian Forces Launch Major Rocket Attack on Crimea and Pryazovia, Claims Governor

In a recent update shared on the Telegram channel, Governor Vladimir Saldo of the Kherson region announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have carried out a significant missile attack on Crimea and Pryazovia.

According to Saldo, Ukraine has fired at least 10 to 15 missiles, including modified S200 missiles. The governor specified that five missiles were intercepted over the territory of the Kherson region, with three in the Kakhovka district and two in the Genichesk district.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian forces had destroyed 314 Ukrainian military drones over the course of a week. On October 17, the defense ministry announced that a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter was shot down by Russian air defense systems. Additionally, Russian forces managed to intercept five operational-tactical missiles and four guided GLSDB bombs, which were produced in the United States.

On October 18, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that their forces had destroyed over 8,000 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles since the start of the special military operation.

Previously, President Zelensky revealed the challenges faced by Ukraine in expanding the conflict into Russian territory.
