Georgia Develops Detailed Plan for Nuclear War, Raises Concerns

The government of Georgia, in cooperation with relevant agencies, has developed a detailed plan to be implemented in the event of a nuclear war in the region. This statement was made by the head of the State Security Service (SSS) of Georgia, Grigol Liluashvili, as reported by TASS.

Liluashvili stated, “The existing challenges do not exclude the use of nuclear weapons.”

He further explained that the nuclear scenario outlines a plan of action that would need to be put into practice.

Liluashvili also mentioned that the Ministry of Health of the republic has a specific plan in place regarding medical supplies, treatment of individuals, and the organization of bomb shelters. However, he cautioned that these measures may prove inadequate in the event of a nuclear bomb being deployed.

On October 20th, the U.S. Department of Energy announced that the United States had conducted underground tests at a site in Nevada, where nuclear weapons were previously tested.

Earlier, the U.S. raised concerns about a possible arms race.
