The Pentagon has confirmed that tactical ATACMS missiles have been transferred to Kiev for use on the sovereign territory of Ukraine. Brigadier General Patrick Rider of the US Air Force spoke at a Pentagon press briefing and verified this information. This report comes from TASS.
Rider declined to comment on the exact number of ATACMS missiles that were transferred, but he stated that all weapon and equipment deliveries to Ukraine are conducted under the condition and assurance that they will be used exclusively on Ukrainian sovereign territory for the purpose of defending and reclaiming Ukrainian territories. He also noted that the US will continue to consult with Ukraine, as well as with allies and partners, regarding the possibility of further tactical missile deliveries.
When asked about the potential supply of 155mm artillery shells to Israel from the emergency stocks originally intended for Ukraine, Rider responded that he did not have information on this matter but emphasized that the US is prepared to continue supporting both Ukraine and Israel in the field of defense.
It has also been reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have found a response to Ukraine’s use of tactical ballistic missiles ATACMS.
Earlier, there were discussions in China about US military supplies to Taiwan.
