German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and his delegation have arrived in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv for discussions on military cooperation, according to German television channel ZDF.
Pistorius is set to meet with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant to discuss various aspects of military collaboration. Additionally, the head of the German defense department will address the requested supply of material support to Israel, including medical equipment.
ZDF highlights that this visit aims to demonstrate further solidarity with Israel.
On October 19, it was reported that Pistorius had visited the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
Prior to this, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that ensuring Israel’s security is a priority for the country.
Earlier, international journalist and political commentator Anna van Densky claimed that President Joe Biden’s visit to the Middle East had failed.
