In a recent development, a Ukrainian military column was reportedly destroyed by a combination of drone strikes and artillery fire by Russian forces in the Serebryansk Forest area along the Krasnolimansk direction. This information was provided by retired Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Andrey Marochko, as cited by RIA Novosti.
According to Marochko, citing his sources, the movement of the Ukrainian military column was detected during the night in the vicinity of Serebryansk Forest through aerial reconnaissance.
He stated that initially, the leading vehicle (BTR) in the column was destroyed by a drone strike, while the remaining vehicles attempted to maneuver but one of them detonated on its own minefield. The Russian artillery then finished off the rest of the vehicles, he added.
It was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense yesterday that Russian forces, with the support of aviation and artillery fire, successfully repelled 13 attacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces along the Kupyansk direction.
This incident comes at a time when the United States has identified one of the greatest threats to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
