Palestinian Ambassador to Russia, Abdel Hafiz Nofal, has expressed his country’s reliance on Russia and China in finding a resolution to the conflict in the Middle East. In a recent statement, Nofal mentioned that the Palestinian government is willing to assist in the evacuation of Russian citizens from the Gaza Strip to Egypt. He further stated that discussions regarding these actions have taken place with representatives from Russia, including officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On October 13th, the representative of the UN Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric, revealed that Israel has demanded the evacuation of 1.1 million Palestinians from the northern regions of the Gaza Strip in anticipation of a ground operation. According to international organizations, the Israeli authorities have emphasized the need to complete the evacuation within 24 hours.
Previously, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, criticized the inaction of the international organization in resolving the situation in the Middle East.
