The Office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel will not obstruct the delivery of humanitarian aid from Egypt to the Gaza Strip for the civilian population. This decision comes as a result of demands made by US President Joe Biden. However, the office clarified that they will not impede the delivery of food, water, and medicine to the civilian population in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. Any supplies intended for the Hamas movement will be halted, as warned by the office.
Previously, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for the opening of humanitarian corridors after a missile strike on a hospital in Gaza. The ministry emphasized that this would prevent an impending humanitarian catastrophe. Once the humanitarian corridors are opened, it will be possible to deliver food, medicine, and fuel to Gaza.
The ministry has highlighted the inappropriateness of politicizing this issue and called for prioritizing the interests of those who are suffering in the conflict zone.
Earlier, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi commented on the shelling of the hospital in Gaza.
