Russian Tankers Anxiously Await Arrival of US Abrams Tanks in Ukraine

Reports of NATO delivering combat equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces have caused a massive stir among Russian tankers. Stationed in Rabotino, they are preparing for a potential battle with the US Abrams tanks. Captain Sambu Khutakov, the commander of a Russian tank battalion, shared this information in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“The excitement among tankers was palpable – everyone wanted to be the first to capture the Leopard or Bradley,” the military officer claims.

According to Khutakov, his unit’s tankers are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the first American M1 Abrams tanks by the end of this year or early next year. However, they are ready to engage with them even now.

“Just give our tankers free rein. Give them the opportunity, and they will go. I don’t know. If there are no tanks, they will go with RPGs,” he said.

Yesterday, Colonel Martin O’Donnell, a representative of the US Army Command in Europe and Africa, announced that the country had delivered all the promised Abrams tanks to Ukraine.

Earlier, an American veteran shared what can be expected from Abrams tanks on the frontlines of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
