In a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday, October 18th, US President Joe Biden stated that the United States is committed to providing all the necessary assistance for Israel’s defense. This announcement comes as Israel continues to respond to attacks.
Biden emphasized the importance of ensuring that Israel has everything it needs to protect itself. He stated, “As Israel is forced to continue responding to attacks, I believe it is necessary to ensure that you have everything you need to defend yourself.”
The 46th President of the United States also reassured Israel that Washington will do everything possible to ensure its protection. However, Biden did not provide specific details regarding future assistance.
Additionally, Biden highlighted that the hospital in Gaza was targeted by a “different group” and not by Israel. On October 17th, rockets attacked a Baptist hospital in the Gaza sector.
