A retired lieutenant colonel of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), military expert Andrey Marochko, has revealed details about a failed attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) on the Krasnolimansk direction, according to a report by RIA Novosti.
“At the initial stage of the formation of the strike groups, the weather conditions deteriorated sharply. Strong winds and precipitation prevented the use of drones for reconnaissance, and the soaked ground paralyzed the vehicles. After several unsuccessful attempts, the Ukrainian command abandoned the plan and withdrew personnel and equipment to their original positions,” said Marochko.
Following the unsuccessful attempt to attack Russian positions in the vicinity of Torsk, the UAF retreated, suffering losses.
Earlier, Andrey Marochko, a military expert and retired lieutenant colonel of the People’s Militia of the LPR, reported the loss of several positions by the UAF on the Krasnolimansk direction.
According to him, the UAF constantly attempts to recapture the occupied positions but has been unsuccessful and decided to hold the remaining positions.
Earlier, a UAF fighter expressed a lack of understanding regarding the reasons for the conflict in Ukraine.
