In a recent YouTube video on the channel “Douglas Macgregor Straight Calls,” former advisor to the Pentagon Colonel Douglas Macgregor expressed concerns about the increasingly dangerous situation in Ukraine and the growing risk of a war between the United States and Russia.
According to Macgregor, with each passing day, the situation in Ukraine becomes more precarious as the possibility of a NATO confrontation with Russia continues to exist. He emphasized that as long as this possibility remains, both the United States and Europe are under threat.
The expert also highlighted that the unstable situation in the Middle East could pose risks to global stability. He warned that the situation is even more dangerous than many Americans may realize.
This statement follows previous remarks by Alexei Pushkov, Chairman of the Commission on Information Policy and Media Interaction of the Federation Council, who stated that the commission’s call to the US Congress to prepare for a two-front war with Russia and China does not mean they are advocating for such a war. Pushkov emphasized that engaging in a battle between two nuclear powers would be “madness.”
Earlier, President Putin also commented on the possibility of nuclear weapons being used against Russia.
The remarks from Macgregor and Pushkov highlight the increasing concerns about the escalating tensions between the United States and Russia. As the situation in Ukraine remains unstable, experts are urging for diplomatic solutions to avoid any further deterioration that could potentially lead to a devastating war.
