President Biden Assures Israel of US Military Support During Visit

During his visit to Israel, President Joe Biden will reassure the country’s leadership of the United States’ readiness to meet its military assistance needs. This was announced by John Kirby, the White House National Security Council’s coordinator for strategic communications, during a briefing for journalists, as reported by TASS.

Kirby noted that during the meeting with Biden, the Israeli government will inform him about the situation in the ongoing conflict, as well as its goals, plans, and intentions. Biden intends to inform his Israeli counterparts that Washington does not want the conflict to escalate further. The US aims to prevent escalation in the region, whether it originates from a state or a terrorist group.

Kirby emphasized that Biden will undoubtedly inquire about the military assistance required by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his cabinet members. The US president will assure them that Washington will do everything in its power to support Israel.

Earlier, it was reported that President Joe Biden canceled his visit to Jordan. This was announced by the White House press pool.

Earlier, Netanyahu stated that Israel is transitioning to a massive attack “like never before.”
