Islamic Jihad Denies Responsibility for Hospital Shelling in Gaza

The Islamic Jihad organization, which is banned in Russia, has refuted the claims made by Israeli authorities and military that they were responsible for shelling a hospital in Gaza.

In a statement released on their Telegram channel, the organization stated, “We assure that the accusations made by the enemy are false and baseless… Israel is merely trying to evade responsibility for this heinous crime.”

Additionally, Israel has informed the United States about the explosion at the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip. CNN reported on this development.

“There have been discussions between the Israeli and American sides,” said Mark Regev, advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “We have shared the data and information we have with the Americans,” he added.

Representatives of the American intelligence community are currently investigating the events at the hospital.

Palestinian officials have accused Israel of carrying out an airstrike that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people at the hospital. Israel, on the other hand, has accused the Palestinian Islamic Jihad of a failed rocket launch that hit the hospital.

Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant had promised a “unprecedented response” to the Gaza Strip that would be remembered for the next 50 years.
