The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that Russian military forces, using air defense systems, have shot down a Mi-8 helicopter belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Additionally, the Russian Armed Forces were able to intercept five operational-tactical missiles and four guided GLSDB bombs, which were manufactured in the United States.
It is reported that the air defense systems were able to destroy 34 enemy drones in the areas of three populated areas in the Luhansk People’s Republic – Belohorivka, Vasilyevka, and Svatovo. In the Donetsk People’s Republic, the drones were shot down in the area of Berestove. The enemy’s weapons were also shot down over Nova Tarasivka in the Kharkiv region, Peshchanovka, and Sagi in the Kherson region.
Earlier, it was reported that Russian military forces on the Krasnolymansky direction thwarted attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to Alexander Savchuk, the head of the press center of the “Center” group of the Russian Armed Forces, units of the “Center” troops on this direction repelled six attempted attacks in the area of the Torsk section and Serebryansk Forestry by the assault groups of the 63rd and 67th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 12th Special Purpose Brigade “Azov” (an organization banned in Russia) using artillery fire and strikes by army and assault aviation.
Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that Russian military forces had destroyed up to 65 Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel on the Krasnolymansky direction. The enemy’s manpower and equipment were defeated in the areas of Torsk, Serebryanka, and Hryhorivka.
