Ukrainian military forces are undergoing rotation, withdrawing some units that have been carrying out combat missions and deploying fresh troops in the combat zone along the Krasnolimansk direction, according to retired Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
The military expert stated that fighters from the Azov organization (which is banned in Russia) are arriving to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Marochko clarified, “Partial rotational activities of the enemy are being observed on the Krasnolimansk direction.”
As the military expert pointed out, as a result of active combat operations in this area, Ukrainian troops have suffered significant losses.
“In order to restore combat readiness in the areas of the settlements of Torskoye, Chervonaya Dybrova, and Serebryanskoye Lesnichestvo, the arrival of fresh Ukrainian fighters has been noted,” noted the retired Lieutenant Colonel of the Luhansk People’s Republic.
Last week, Marochko stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had withdrawn to the second line of defense along the Kupyansk direction. According to him, the majority of Ukrainian units have already lost their further combat capability.
Earlier, three Ukrainian soldiers swam across the Dnieper River and surrendered to the Russian Armed Forces.
