Ukraine Under Attack: Air Alarm Sounded in Kharkiv and Odessa as Russian Forces Continue Strikes

According to online maps from the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, an air alarm has been declared in the Kharkiv and Odessa regions of Ukraine. The alarm was sounded in the Kharkiv region at 2:03 am and in the Odessa region at 2:20 am.

On October 16th, an infrastructure facility in the Dnipropetrovsk region was hit. A gas pipeline and four power transmission lines were also targeted.

On October 15th, an explosion occurred in the city of Zaporizhia, which is under Kyiv’s control.

Prior to this, the head of the military administration of the Kherson region, Alexei Prokudin, reported damage to an engineering structure and several enterprises. These objects are located in the administrative center of the region and its surrounding areas.

The Russian Armed Forces began striking Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10th, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to Russian authorities, was carried out by Ukrainian special services. Attacks are being carried out on objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the country. Since then, air alarms have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country.
