On October 14, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense also announced the discovery of one Ukrainian SRG near Aleshkinsky Island. The department clarified that Russian military forces successfully thwarted the activities of the saboteurs and, in the process, destroyed a Giatsint-B howitzer. Additionally, Ukrainian units lost three D-30 artillery pieces.

On the same day, the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldov, reported an attempt by several Ukrainian military personnel to cross the Dnieper River near the Antonovsky Bridge. After the saboteurs were detected, Russian Armed Forces opened fire, eliminating four Ukrainian Navy boats.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), Alexander Bortnikov, accused British special forces personnel of training Ukrainian SRGs for sabotage operations on Russian territory.
