Germany Ready to Expel Hamas Supporters Amid Escalation of Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

In response to the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the German Minister of Interior, Nancy Fezer, has announced the readiness of Germany’s security forces to use all lawful methods to expel supporters of Hamas from the country, according to Bild. “We will utilize all legal means to remove Hamas supporters,” clarified Fezer.

The country’s Minister of Interior further explained that an agreement was reached on Friday, October 13th, with the heads of the Federal States’ Ministries of Interior regarding the expulsion of individuals expressing support for the militants of the movement. “All 16 states and the federal government are united here,” concluded Fezer.

Additionally, the Minister of Interior emphasized that German authorities will not tolerate any anti-Semitic or anti-Israel incitements. This statement comes after the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) declared that an airstrike had been carried out on Hamas command centers.

Earlier, Prime Minister Netanyahu outlined Israel’s objectives in the war against Hamas.
