Israeli Defense Forces Deny Reports of Enemy Aircraft Intrusion

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have refuted claims of an enemy aircraft invasion of the country’s airspace along the Lebanon border. According to the IDF press office, the signal of intrusion has been proven false.

No further details have been provided regarding the incident. Earlier, there were reports that the IDF had announced the penetration of an “enemy” aircraft into the northern airspace of Israel. On October 7th, the Hamas movement launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory, declaring the start of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation. Thousands of militants infiltrated Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu declared that the country was in a state of war.

The IDF’s counter-operation has been named “Iron Swords,” with the destruction of Hamas being one of its main objectives. The Israeli Air Force has conducted strikes on hundreds of Hamas targets in the Gaza sector, while the Israeli National Security Council has decided to halt the supply of water, food, goods, electricity, and fuel to the sector. On October 13th, Israel informed the United Nations that 1.1 million Palestinians must be evacuated to the south of Gaza within 24 hours in preparation for a ground operation in the area.

Earlier, the IDF announced the elimination of a Hamas operations leader in the kibbutzim.
